Temporary URL before publishing site?

    (sorry for bad english)

    Hi, I'm receive an account to setup a website, but is my first time in cpanel. How do I see temporary site before publish them?

    I put files on ftp but don't see them in browser.

    I try:
    IP/~login/
    IP/~ftpaccount/

    Try too create an alias but, in my plan, i having nothing.

    Ok, thanks, but I've tried too and not work, administrator of server say to update a windows hosts file and include IP as a dns server... I will try...

    Hello,

    You can update the hosts file on your workstation so the domain name resolves to the IP address associated with the account:

    hosts (file) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Ensure you remove the additions to the hosts file on your workstation after the domain name is pointed to your provider's name servers.
