    Hi All,
I am wondering, would anyone here be interested in a feature in CPANEL/WHM that you could *test* restore a backup.

I have been thinking for ages that it would be outstanding to have a function in CPANEL/WHM that was *almost* exactly like the standard restore script, however instead of restoring to the original username, it changed the details slightly (so as not to interfere with the original website).

I am guessing this could be done by appending "tr_" to the usernames and such of a cpanel backup as part of the restoration process.

Basically I only have one CPANEL server and would like to be able to test a backup restore without interfering with the original account.

Does anyone see this as a worthwhile feature (I am sure it could not be *too* difficult to put together).

    You are the guy.

This would be a great feature, and would be used to test backups
