I tried to install APC via the WHM "Module Installers" and received the error
    Code:
The APC.so object is not in /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626
After trying several solutions in the forums, I noticed that the notice was saying about "APC.so" but the file that got installed was "apc.so" in lowercase.

Which is correct, and how do I make this work? For now I've used
    Code:
    # cd /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626
    # cp -p apc.so APC.so

and it's appearing in phpinfo, but I'm not sure whether this will cause issues further down the line.

    Hello :)

You may want to try installing APC via the command line to see if you get a different result. EX:

    Code:
    # pecl install apc
Let us know if you experience the same error message.

    Thank you.

Installing using that method worked, after adding apc.so to the extension list and restarting the httpd service. So it looks like it's just an issue that the module installer is looking for a file in the wrong case.
