    Hello :)

How long before the error message was the bucket created on Amazon? If the bucket is recently created (probably within minutes), Amazon's services have not fully propagated the bucket information in their network. This causes a redirect output from their end, which causes the backup transporter to fail. We have internal case FB-149009 open to determine how to best address this issue from the cPanel side of things.

    Thank you.

The overall issue itself stems from an issue with Amazon as opposed to with the cPanel software. You may want to contact their support team to determine if there are any workarounds to the issue described in my previous post.

    Thank you.

    I have the same errors:

[2016-02-07 02:18:58 -0600] warn [cpbackup_transporter] Upload attempt failed: Failure in initiate_multipart_upload: Amazon::S3: Amazon responded with 404 Not Found

The problem is happening with "initiate_multipart_upload". Multipart uploads are just multiple segments of a single, compressed file, aren't they? If so, Amazon will treats them like individual files.

This is the only thread I found looking for "Amazon responded with 307 Temporary Redirect" error on cPanel and, despite being an old thread, I would like to share how I solved my this error on my servers.

This erros happens when the bucket is created "in a non-default region (anywhere except US-east)"
