The certificate could not be installed on the domain

Hi - I'm attempting to install an SSl certificate on domain example.com. This is set up on a dedicated IP address in the WHM and DNS has propogated over 72 hours ago. However when I go to install the certificate, I get this error message:

_refresh_transaction_vhosts cannot refresh vhosts because the following domains are not installed: example.com

Is there a remedy for this?

Hello

Could you ensure the domain name associated with the certificate is either the primary domain name of the account, or added as an Addon domain name?

Hi Michael - well the only DNS Zone is for example.com and the SSL certificate is for example.com and /http://www.examples.com, so this this to me sounds like it is a primary domain. Should I add www. as an Addon domain?
