    CGI Counter Problem

I've had the same problem. I went in as root via SSH into the counter directory for CPANEL and deleted that users counter (should have a specific name). Then have the user the go into cpanel and then recreate the counter as they want it. They shouldn't even have to change the code that was originally generated to show the counter on the page, it should appear fixed. Very simple fix.

This seems to be a permission issue. Please make sure that the file has the ownership of the user which owns the account.

It's actually an ownership problem. I'm having the same problem.

    /var/cpanel/Counters/

    Old (donor) server:
    -rw-r--r-- 1 abcdcom abcdcom 1 Oct 23 2006 abcdcom.dat
    -rw-r--r-- 1 efghcom efghcom 2 Sep 4 2006 efghcom.dat
    -rw-r--r-- 1 ijklcom ijklcom 5 Sep 20 21:35 ijklcom.dat

NEW server, after multiple account express transfer:
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20 Sep 21:35 abcdcom.dat
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20 Sep 21:36 efghcom.dat
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20 Sep 21:37 ijklcom.dat

It would appear to be a bug in the cPanel transfer script.

I'll open up a ticket (I'd open a Bugzilla but I guess they don't want us using that anymore.)
