Getting the same issue as above using Let's Encrypt. A little concerned since we had to stop using Sectigo months ago due to unresolved issues.
Are you using Let's Encrypt for the hostname SSL? That's the issue I have....

@cPRex trying to get this new server SSL set up.... it has been three days now - can't get the hostname a SSL - keep getting:

Requesting certificate from cPStore …
The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.

The system failed to acquire a signed certificate from the cPanel Store because of the following error: (XID 8cmgtu) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request "POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day": We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.

I am getting this warning too, but have concerns now as its been 5 days in a row. When should i be worried?

We continue to see this issue across all our servers. Failing to update the services SSL! If cPanel is having a problem with alot of load on their SSL store then why don't they limit by the IP addresses that have cPanel installed on it only. Certainly only cPanel verified server would be attempting a request for SSL certificate:

We always have to run: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts from cli , and do it repeatedly very quickly in order to get an order#

The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable)

Hello, same here, for the past few days self-signed certificates for services are not updated with the signed ones from cPanel store:

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts

always returns

Code:
The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.

UPDATE: I managed to replace self signed certs, I had to run checkallsslcerts script multiple times for 2-3 hours. It seems that cPanel Store servers are really overloaded these days...

Also having this issue with MANY of the servers in our fleet. :( You'd think with the extra money they're extracting out of all of us each month for our licensing that they'd be able to afford some additional resources so that this isn't an issue.

Same problem here:
The system failed to acquire a signed certificate from the cPanel Store because of the following error: (XID rachm) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.

Looks like this is widely.
What is our options if Sectigo can't solve this problem.

@pashaamidi - is your error specifically the "temporarily unavailable" error? If you're frequently getting that, and the SSLs are close to their expiration, please submit a ticket with our team so we can check the system.

The reason this is marked as "solved" because there is no official resolution that cPanel can provide at this time. The issue is with the Sectigo network not being able to handle the amount of requests they are getting.

We are working on a few options and once I'm able to, I'll let you guys know what those are.

Apparently I've been receiving 500 errors during the AutoSSL runs for days and maybe longer and some domains SSL expired. I had no idea because no email notifications were sent to alert me of the issue:

"The response to the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) “POST” request from “https://store.cpanel.net/json-api/ssl/certificate/free” indicated an error (500, Internal Server Error"

I was set to "Notify the administrator for AutoSSL certificate request failures, warnings, and deferrals."

Does this only alert when you get a legit response form the store for a failure, warning or deferral?

If it hasn't yet, the notifications should also send if you get Internal Server Errors as well since that's still important and much the same as legit error responses.

I've changed to "Notify the administrator for all AutoSSL events and normal successes." to see if that works any better.

Sectigo and cPanel really need to get their act together.

Yes, that alert preference would only be for issues. If that 500 error was generated as part of the AutoSSL checks, I would expect that to have generated a notification of some sort. If not, could you please submit a ticket so we can examine that and then reach out to the developers if needed?

Hello @cPRex.

I encountered this message now for the last 2 days.
The following cPanel service generated warnings from the checkallsslcerts script.

⚠ cpanel

The system failed to acquire a signed certificate from the cPanel Store because of the following error: (XID kgycx6) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.

This notice is the result of a request from “/usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts”.

The system generated this notice on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 1:55:39 AM UTC.
Do you want me to send in a ticket too or do I have to wait to see if it will be running tomorrow? Or pas the weekend?
Certificate for the hostname/cPanel expires only end of October, so there is time.

@customtacos - like I've mentioned before, the issue is with the Sectigo network and not something related to any cPanel sources. That doesn't mean we shouldn't work to fix it, and we are, but I just wanted to add that point for clarity.
This issue is far from resolved. We continue to have multiple servers fail to renew the services SSL certs. We have to login to each server and manually run:

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts

Several times within a minute in order to get the SSL accepted. Sectigo itself is not having problem processing orders when I buy directly from them, seems a licensing/volume issue between cPanel and Sectigo.

Despite raising the price on all partners, simple issues like these remain unresolved. When will this be fully addressed?
