the default create email account

Hello,

when sending an email from the default create account on a cpanel, it uses the hostname of my machine as the domain instead of the domain associated with that account.

He then uses an email address of this type: [email protected]
instead of [email protected]
if the user cp5555 is linked to the domain mydomain.com

do you know how to change that?

Can't change it as far as I know. The key here is to not use cPanel usernames that you want to use for email addresses.

You can try creating an actual email account [email protected]. Not sure if that works currently or not.

Eaisest thing to do is to not make an account with a username that would be used for email.

This can't be changed, this is the default email account for the cPanel account, You can create an account that is [email protected] though
