    Hi,

There may be difference in bandwidth usage shows in cPanel and AWStats, Webalizer, or Analog) according to the cPnel docs. As per this docs the site bandwidth usage is not directly propositional to the number of visitors. It depends on the amount of data transferred. Does your site contain videos and pictures ?. You can get a better ides while reading the below cPanel Docs.

    Hi

    1. Are there any scripts which may be opening the sessions from the server resulting bandwidth consumption?
    2. What C-panel version does your host using?
    3. I would like to advice you to check the exim_maillog and exim_rejectlog see if your server is sending out huge quantity of spam mails?
    4. For urgent solution, best way is to contact your host immediately about it or open a ticket with C-Panel.

    Hi,

    Possible reasons could be

    • Search Engine Bots or crawlers (some maybe malicious)
    • Hot Linking by some external site to your images / videos
    • Heavy Email Traffic

You should check your error logs and stats too.
