Ok so I have spent a lot of time today trying to figure out how to install SVN for a client on a server. This is where I am at. Username and domain variables are of course the client account username and domain's.

svn --version looks great, it is installed, apache restarts great.. but when I enter "svn info" or any command regarding status etc, I receive:

svn: '.' is not a working copy

Now I don't understand how SVN works completely, I know what it does but not how it works. I have read a few threads regarding performing an import first. What am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you.

The client ended up using a script to perform it instead. I don't recall the name of it but the interface was very nice and had excellent version control.
