I can login using any other computer or internet connection(when i connect this computer to a different line) but i cant login when i am connected from my home line. both godaddy and timewarner tech supports are able to login and no one can figure out why i cant. i was logged in about a week ago when it kicked me out and i haven't been able to login on this computer from home since.

does anyone know what I could have possibly triggered to do this? I have checked to make sure I wasn't on my own ban list.

Hello :)

Could you elaborate on which specific service you are attempting to access? What method are you using to login? Have you consulted with your web hosting provider about this issue (assuming you do not have root access)?

Thank you.

hi, soo i dont know much about what root access actually means. Before I used to have access to my Cpanel through gateway.godaddy.com where I would login with my godaddy info. From there it would take me to my cpanel which had its own login information for the website I own. One day I was adding another email address to the list and to my outlook. I think I may have typed the password in wrong or something on my outlook beacuse shortly afterwards I was kicked out of cpanel and now I cant recieve any of the emails or login. I have contacted godaddy and they it has to do with my isp. when i contacted my isp and spent 5 hours getting transfered from one retard to the next (**************** time warner) we resolved that they could even login. I logged in with a different device and checked my ip block list and there is nothing there. Could i be looking in the wrong place or is something else going on here?

First, you should determine if you have root access to the server. Is this a VPS or dedicated server where you can access Web Host Manager with the "root" username? Or, is it an individual cPanel account? If it's an individual cPanel account that you have access to, then you should consult with your web hosting provider and ask them to verify your IP address is not blocked by a firewall or cPhulk.

Thank you.

soo I called and they said its not blocked on their end and they have no way of duplicating it. so they feel its something local causing it. i just turned my firewall off and tried it and nothing changed.

Did you have your hosting provider check to see if your IP address was blocked by cPhulkd? Also, have you tried accessing cPanel using the proxy subdomain feature? EX:

cpanel.yourdomain.com

Thank you.

I'm on the phone with them right now and they say I'm not on the blocked list at all. Yes we have tried the various direct cpanel links.

You may want to have your hosting provider assist you in running some network diagnostic tests to determine where your connection fails. It sounds like there may be a network level or router issue with your home connection that will need to be addressed.

Thank you.

I am having this same issue. Can anyone be more specific about fixing the port forwarding of the modem/router? Thank you...

It likely depends on your specific model brand/model. You may need to contact the support department for your modem for specific instructions.

Thank you.
