    Hi,

    I am getting following error while changing the root password from WHM:

    ====================
    Results of Password Change

    The password for 'root' could not be changed because: Sorry, the user root is currently suspended. Changing the user's password would unsuspend the account.
    =====================

    The weird thing is that I am able to login in WHM using root user but I am not able to reset the password.

    I am using cPanel 11.24.4-R33609 - WHM 11.24.2.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    cPanel creates a file for suspended user in /var/cpanel/suspended/ directory. Make sure there is no file for root (possible file name is root) in this directory.
