Hi there,

Since a couple of days my webmail is unavailable for me. Cpanel and website are running well and are accesible but not my webmail. When logging in I see a message telling me: the security token is missing from your request. I can login and that is succesfull but after that nothing happens untill that message comes up. I have tried cleaning my cache, cookies and DNS. Also tried too login from different browsers and devices but no result so far.

I have read different solutions mostly involving logging in to WHM but so far I am not able to get too my WHM.

In need for some help and a solution

Thanks in advance!
Johan

Hi! What URL are you using to access webmail? For example, were you using a service subdomain such as webmail.domain.tld or the server's IP address? I've seen this issue occur when CloudFlare is being used to proxy the webmail login URL. I'd recommend ensuring that the URL you're using to login to webmail resolves directly to the server.

The IP address URL would resemble the following: https://1.1.1.1:2096 (you would replace 1.1.1.1 with your domain or server's IP address). If the IP address-based URL still displays the same security token error, I recommend checking to ensure that your IP address isn't blocked in cPHulk as this can also lead to login failures. You can whitelist your IP address in cPHulk to ensure it does not get blocked:

Hi,

in order to edit information in CPHulk I need to log in too my WHM. I have no idea how and don'nt think I have the information for that.
You would use the root username and password to login to WHM (unless you have a reseller account). If you don't remember those credentials, I would recommend reaching out to your hosting provider so they can assist you with obtaining or resetting the root password. I don't believe there would be a way around this, as troubleshooting these issues often requires root access.

I have found a way too access my webmail so the main problem is solved. But still unable to access via IP adress or other normal way I was used too. My provider is looking into that. This subject can be closed for me, thanks for the help.
