Received the following monitoring email - any information or process to resolve?

Service Name nameserver
Service Status failed
Notification The service “nameserver” appears to be down.
Service Check Method The system’s command to check or to restart this service failed.
Number of Restart Attempts 1
Service Check Raw Output (XID ve8kvh) The “pdns” service is down.

The subprocess “/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/restartsrv_named” reported error number 255 when it ended.

Based on this link
I executed the following command:

rpm -qf --queryformat '%{VERSION}\n' /etc/redhat-release

it returns 7

i executed also :

/scripts/restartsrv_named

it returns "pdns restarted successfully."

but i can not access my whm panel or cpanel .

any help needed. thanks

Your issue is different than the one listed in the thread so unfortunately, gathering system information may not be as useful for you.

What is the output of the following in order of how they're listed?

/scripts/restartsrv_pdns

ps faux |grep pdns

netstat -plan |grep pdns
