    if I do df -h
I see that the /usr partition is going up rapidly
    (almost 2% in 2 days)

    but if I do this-
the /usr partition has the exact same numbers as it did 2 days ago and almost the exact numbers as a week or 2 ago

    root@server1 [~]# cd /usr
    root@server1 [/usr]# du -hcs *
    28K aquota.user
    116M bin
    112K doc
    212K etc
    8.0K games
    53M include
    1.9M kerberos
    910M lib
    16M libexec
    1.3G local
    20K lost+found
    160K man
    16K quota.user
    38M sbin
    887M share
    35M src
    4.0K tmp
    24K X11R6
    3.3G total

I have been keeping track of the logs and they haven't changed much
and I have been looking through the folders in usr
and nothing has really changed as far as size of folders.

I have log rotation set up for cPanel logs in WHM >> Service Configuration >> cPanel Log Rotation Configuration
the log rotation size threshold in Tweak Settings is set to 10MB

I even changed the stats and bandwidth to run every 12 hours- but /usr still keeps going up

Have there been any particular updates to cpanel in version 11.30.3 build 5 stable release
that would have caused /usr to keep rising?
Should I switch to a newer update?

What files are safe to delete in usr?

Thanks in advance for your help
