    Transfers not working...

It appears that when I copy an account from anoptehr server that everything works fine, but the new account does not have the databases, home dir or email aliases... Anyone had this problem?

This may be of no help to you.. but I just transfered over 20 accounts using the "Multiple Account" toolk in Cpanel (at the time it was c42 - Current).

The DB's and everything seemed to come over for us.

OK we're switching to a new, better box and while tranfering account using either single or multi transfer, we get this error:

how do we fix this? or how can we transfer these accounts (some are the reseller's main accounts) ????

A little (ok, a lot) help needed here!

    Edit:
OK this is insane.. what gives here?
How are suppose to transfer accounts (especially Resellers) with all the correct settings and whatnot??

I'm having trouble transfering accounts from another server (root) as well.. I'm getting major errors and failures:

Retrying seems to just produce the same error(s)

We've got to get these accounts moved ASAP so we can turn in the old server. Any help avail to us? someone? anyone??

    I did two transfers earlier TO a WHM 10.0.0 cPanel 10.0.0-E78/RedHat 8.0 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0 server FROM a WHM 10.0.0 cPanel 10.0.0-E78/Fedora i686 - WHM X v3.1.0 without any problems.

What OS+versions of cpanel are the from and to servers running in your setup?

Same problem here as well. I'm copying a very large (5GB) account using the root password. The copy process completes the "copying homedir" section, and while in the "creating archive" section, this error appears:

I'm trying the account backup function as well (then ftp it to new server) with the idea of using the resore full backup / copy-move file script in WHM.

I fear that the package account script (it seems to be the same script) will fail there as well..

what we need are quick solutions to get these (some are resellers) account moved over complete with all relevent settings (db's, reseller settings, subs, parked domains, etc..)

What we have done and has worked great for large accounts is fetch or wget the backup from server one and copied it into server two's backup, then in server two, after the domain is entered with the same username as server one. Use the restore from backup feature in WHM and all files along with users databases get restored.

    Hi,

We have just done a transfer and found that unless we increased the disk quotas on the accounts on the old server to say 5 times the original size we would have issues.
