I recently migrated my server to a new server and chose an option of Transfer Tool to transfer backup configuration.
After the migration complete, I've changed the Backup Storage password but I'm not able to add the new password in the backup configuration anymore! Getting timeout error.
I tried both FTP and SFTP as well as WebDav but no success.
I also added some test FTP accounts to check if the problem persists with all FTP accounts, but they have successfully added and WHM is able to access them without any issue.
Also I'm able to access the backup storage using SSH but WHM is not.
Any idea what could be wrong with the WHM ?

    Hi,

When the timeout occurs, what error actually does occur in the backend? Can you check what is it that is logged in the file:
    /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log*

    Hello Michael,
With @24x7server help we have made changes on the server regarding the resolution of the DNS. The backup has also been validated and attached to the server.

FYI, we have added <IP address> <FTP server hostname> pair into the /etc/hosts . this was the temporary fix.
After more investigation we found that the server has a problem with IPv6 connection. So we re-configured the network with proper IPv6 values and everything is fine now.
    Hope this helps.
