TLS Email certificate Has Expired

So I am working on a script on my server and that has came up with some errors - and in searching the problem seems to be with a certificate error. The script is access the email server tls. I get the error stream_socket_enable_crypto(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages: error:14090086:SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed in

Running ssl test I get an error saying

SSLVersion in use: TLSv1_2
Cipher in use: ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
EXPIRED: Certificate 1 of 1 in chain: Cert VALIDATION ERROR(S): self signed certificate; certificate has expired
So email is encrypted but the recipient domain is not verified
Cert Hostname DOES NOT VERIFY ( !=
So email is encrypted but the host is not verified

Ideas on how to fix this. I have gone into the Manage SSL Hosts and everything is fine, even went into Manage Service SSL certificates and looks fine, I have Exim and Dovecot current.

I must be missing something, been searching for a while now on this and finally came to ask.

Hello @PDW,

Can you open a support ticket so we can take a closer look at the affected system and see why the certificate appears as expired/self-signed? You can post the ticket number here and I'll link this thread to it.

Thank you.
