I am trying to find a place to put my cache folder for my forum but I don't want that folder to be included in the daily backups.

I noticed there a /tmp folder under each account in cPanel and it seem to be holding the awstat or webilzer log etc. Is this /tmp folder included in the daily backup or is it ignored by the backup?

If it ignore then I will create a cache folder within it for the forum.

    Thank you
    Bill

Directories that contain a .cpbackup-skip file will be skipped during backup.

    Hence,
    Code:
    cd ~/tmp
    touch .cpbackup-skip

should produce the result you want.
