    hi all

/usr/tmpDSK is running at 512MB and is gobbling up all my space in /usr
WHM now won't run warning me that something nasty will happen.
However it is dated Jan 12 2008

Can I move it to /home ? Can I delete it?

    Cheers
    Dude

You might try clearing it up first.

    Clear tmp examples

    rm -rf /tmp/sess*
    rm -rf /tmp/dos*
    rm -rf /tmp/imp*
    rm -rf /tmp/11*
    rm -rf /tmp/12*
    rm -rf /tmp/13*
    rm -rf /tmp/rcs*
    rm -rf /tmp/1*

I think these give you an idea.

Sorting out why its filling up might be a good way to go as well. IIRC you could run scripts/securetmp and rebuild tmp to a larger size. You'll need to edit the script first to reflect the size you want it to be.

There are probably more than a few references around the forums here about it posted by chirpy. Might be worth a dig.

    :)
