I see now what happened. the rebuild apache did get sites online. But the rebuild gave all sites the same shared IP - so it seems I will need to check each one versus its own IP.

You got to wonder, is there anyone right now at Cpanel support? It amazes me that I can spend all day asking them for help, that apache, the most important thing on a web server, is so messed up, and all they send me is one sad attempt that did not even check to see if it worked. Usually i get much better support form them...

Maybe half the crew is sick today, or sick of me...

The issue about Cpanel Support - Yes that does surprise me. I have never encountered a problem that they didn't check out within an hour and then have resolved shortly after (except one instance where the problem wasn't detrimental to our service and I waited for the next Cpanel update). Is your license direct through Cpanel? Or is your license through a Cpanel reseller / NOC who is responsible for providing support?

There is a script called /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf . I have never ran it. It may set your IPs back up the way they are supposed to be, or it may not. Might want to ask them if you should run that.

Well I am trying it just one more time since I seem to have so much time in between the Cpanel emails and all ;)

Expanded it to some fictional number like 2000000 - but I have a feeling it will not work no matter what.

What would be nice is more than one email reply from Cpanel. So far I got one attempt at this issue, which is super urgent for me, and the ticekt has been opened for about 5 or so hours.

I pray to the gods in the sky...
What's the ticket number?

This did not work to get the IPs correct - Not sure why - but Kyle was able to revert things and fix it all up (apache) - so happiness
