Tomcat failed...

Hi, Newbie here but learning quick

I have tomcat running but keep getting it failed in server status. Apparently it's running.

What code can I get it to show as running in server status and if not, what where and how can I stop the emails telling me it's failed?

Mine is failed as well, can't fix it.

In WHM I installed (success).
Stats shows fail, restart chkservd 3 times in a row
Still shows failed in stats
Uninstalled, reinstalled, restart chkservd several times
still shows as failed

In between each, restarted Tomcat and got:

tomcat has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "tomcat is not running").

Install did not give any errors at all either

Can't solve this at all.

Best place to start would be find the log file where tomcat erors are logged. Perhaps that would give some clue.

Problem is there is no log

root@server004 [/usr/local/jakarta/jakarta-tomcat-5.5.7/logs]# ls
./ ../

Try to unstalling Tomcar from WHM and reinstall it back. It works for me.
