I am installing apache-tomcat 5.5.20 on Windows environment and I used 8080 for an HTTP/1.1 connector port, and chose c:\Jave\jre1.5.0_09 as Java VM path selection; however when installation reaches to point to using c:\Jave\jre1.5.0_09\bin\client\jvm.dll it hangs, and I have to use the Task Manger Processes in order to kill the hung Apache-Tomcsat Process.
What could be preventing the tomcat installaion from finishing and making it hang like that. I tried the same install on another PC and it worked fine.
