TOMCAT: good or bad idea

Is it a good idea to install the Tomcat module in WHM?

Please share your experience and include your specs:
    O/S
    Server Specs
Estimate number of clients on server

Also, is Tomcat specifically for Java applets or java scripts? What's the difference (newbie lol). Is "servlets" for java specifically?

    Thank you.

Well actually all the problems were because of mod_mono at the same time... but anyway

    .htaccess files stopped working
After WHM removed it - it was still there

Other than that it worked... but I found it to be buggy as hell.
I'd give it a few more weeks before I actually put it on a box you plan to use.

I haven't tried it but people say it's nice & a lot less buggy. :)
    Best of luck
