    Hello madzombie,

The method to install Tomcat onto a cPanel machine would not be to use yum to do so. In cPanel, you would use either "/scripts/easyapache" in root SSH, or to use WHM > EasyApache (Apache Update) to run cPanel's Apache compiler. In Step 5's Short Options list, you would select Tomcat and then recompile.

After you've recompiled Apache with Tomcat using EasyApache, you can then add any domain for JSP and servlet support in WHM > Install Servlets area.

I suggest removing the tomcat rpm that you've installed and properly adding Tomcat using EasyApache.

    Thanks!
