    Hi all
    I don't have more idea for this problem.

    I'm developing a web application that uses JDBC and Hibernate connection
    in order to gather data from a Mysql database. When I try to catch data
    querying the database as a db-user with all the privileges I get no
    results whatever I ask for.

    In addiction to this I have experienced some errors using the WHM
    interface for creating database users. The error was:
    "$dbh=mysql_connect ("localhost", "sirplay_Sirplayd", "<PASSWORD HERE>")
    or die ('I cannot connect to the database because: ' . mysql_error());
    mysql_select_db ("sirplay_sirplaydbriver");
    JDBC (may not be available) ".
    I have added the JDBC libraries to the
    java path and got rid of this problem, but still I can't use queries
    through the JSP.

    So I guess there should be some problems in JDBC system libraries or in
    mysql installation.

    My configurations is this:

    MySQL: 4.1.22

    Name: tomcat
    Author: cPanel Inc.
    Installed Version: 5.5.9-1.4
    Version: 5.5.9-1.4

    WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.18.3-R21703

    FEDORA 6 i686 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0

    and I use jk locate in /usr/local/apache/modules/mod_jk.so

    please help....

    Try upgrading your install of Tomcat and the MySQL JDBC as provided by EasyApache. From the version you provided, it looks like you are still using the Plugin version of Tomcat, which is really old.

    When you perform the JDBC calls,
    do you get any errors on the screen or in catalina logs?

    $dbh=mysql_connect ("localhost", "sirplay_Sirplayd", "<PASSWORD HERE>")
    or die ('I cannot connect to the database because: ' . mysql_error());
    mysql_select_db ("sirplay_sirplaydbriver");

    Those code is PHP and not JAVA.
