I have read thru many tomcat posts that they are not working after the installer thru add-ons.

    I have WHM 9.9.0 -E57 (edge)
    RHES3.
    Tomcat 5.0.28-1.00RC1

Tomcat was already running and fired up when everything was installed. I cannot compile jsps though. I can't hit test or my jsps/servlets. I check the process and the stderr/stdout are not being created either. I update the starttomcat script and add absolute paths for the logs, still nothing. No logs to troubleshoot!

So as it stands I have no idea why I get the "resource unavailable" message.

    Can anyone help? Thanks!

Problem is when you install servlets, it doesnt enter the virtualhost <Host> info in the server.xml

If Tomcat is not logging, it is probably becuase your log verbosity is turned either way down (level="1") or off (level="0")

Try changing the level to 10 and restarting tomcat.
Also make sure that the user tomcat is running as has permission to write to the log files and folders etc.
