if i remember correctly, i had installed tomcat from the howto at cpanelhosts.com the install started with something like this.

./pre-install.sh <-- Checks if java -version runs
    ./install.sh <-- Does the installs/copies
    ./cpinstall.sh <-- finishes cPanel integration

till now tomcat was working fine.

Now by accident, i enabled servlet support thru WHM, and found that it broke the existing tomcat install, and the tomcat services are shown as failed. can someone help, on how to un-install the existing tomcat, and maybe install the tomcat which comes with cpanel.

    thanks

Got the same thing however tomcat is not installed (as stated in whm) we still get an error that the users can view.

    Does anyone has a clue?
