Tomcat

    Hi,

    I think of install Tomcat to my server. But before I install ... I would like to know will it cause any slow down to the server anot if I installed the Tomcat :confused:

    yes tomcat sure takes memory and processes on the server. Its also not advised to run too many java sites on a server as it will take the server load too high.

    Can you advise me if I installed Tomcat will there be a URL link to Tomcat Manager to manage Tomcat

    looks like you posted the same question in two threads, i posted the answer in the earlier one. Anyways, to enable java on accounts, you will find the option in WHM. It also has the option to restart tomcat incase you need to (i prefer to run all this through shell though. I have been running tomcat for so much time now, much before cpanel came out with its unsupported version of tomcat. we have our own scripts to manage all tomcat users etc)
