Tons of theses in apache/logs/access_logs

    Hi can anyone help me I have tons of these in my apache logs:

    127.0.0.1 - - [29/Mar/2009:11:28:56 -0600] "OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0" 200 -
    127.0.0.1 - - [29/Mar/2009:11:28:58 -0600] "OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0" 200 -

    How can I see what this process is doing?

    I would guess it is the service manager to make sure the service are still up by polling them.

    seeing this on one server as well.

    i doubt it is the service manager. This kept coming even after disabling http monitoring from service manager ..

    After disabling service manager you still get
