only started to show 48 hours ago , today the server went down, so ssh or whm had to have it rebooted, first reboot failed came back on second reboot ?

the only sendmail i can find are the symlinks to exim

If you remove formmail.cgi from the cgi-sys and formmail.pl and any other formmail scripts in the cgi-sys this problem disappears.

Not exactly true mate. I had the formmail scripts chmoded to disable them then chattr +i'ed them to ensure they don't get updated and I was having the same problem described above. I upgraded to the latest stable from edge and that seemed to resolve the problem.. at least for the time being.

Anyone found a solution for this? we are still getting this problem.

Is anyone else thinking why did we update cpanel when it was working just fine before.
Never going to update cpanel again until the stable version is actually proved stable. I think the current test for stable release is to try it on a server and if it doesn`t crash we will say it`s stable.

I'm having the same problem on both of my cpanel servers. Any fix other than removing formmail?

s16 i think but others may be using a different release of cpanel .

i would say if you currently don`t have any problems with cpanel don`t upgrade it until cpanel can at least start to reply to these threads

They hardly check these forums, if your problems serious enough, you should submit a support request and have them look into it..
