Im trying to move an account from a free bsd server running whm/cpanel to a red hat server running whm/ cpanel when i try to use the transfer account from one server to another it times out without doing anything, when i try to move the account with account password it gets reasonably far...

    Then I get...

    Copying shell.......Done
    pkgacctfile is: /tmp/cpmove-ewmania.tar.gz
    Creating Archive ....Cputime limit exceeded
    Done
    md5sum is:
    DOWNLOAD READY in /tmp/cpmove-ewmania.tar.gz

Error while copying account...! Aborting Extraction

I desperately need to move this account urgently... has anyone got any ideas how to sort this out?

    Carl.

I had trouble transferring large accounts, and what I did was compressed the public_html directory and moved it elsewhere, then copied the account. That made it small enough to copy with all appropriate settings. Then from the new server I used wget in SSH to bring over the compressed public_html directory and uncompressed it to where it belongs. No problems.

Or if you have some time, you can just recreate the account, and copy files over too.
