    Hi

I want to transfer all accounts to another server in another datacenter. Unfortunately the connection is not that fast, I calculated that it will take about 75 hours to copy everything.

I found a very good instruction here:
    http://forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?threadid=38853

But the problem is, that I can not stop mail and ftp services on the old server for 75 hours.

Is there a possibility to copy everything first and then just do a incremental copy to take the files which where changed durring this 75 hours?

Is there also the pssibilty to take all the backup files, copy then as one big tar.gz over and use this? Because I think this could be faster as well.

    Thanks
    Michael

I'm just thinking if I could use rsync:

    rsync -a -e ssh /home root@newserver.com:/home

But how can I syncronize the mysql databases and what else is needed?

    Thanks
    Michael
