I am in the process of migrating from an older cPanel server to a newer one.

I have completed all but one of the domain transfers.
The final domain is currently acting as a nameserver on the old server.
The new server is already configured and is using a different domain name as it's nameserver.

Before I transfer the final domain using the Transfer Tool, I want make sure that the old domain doesn't come into the new server with it's additional nameserver information. I don't want to create any conflict with the new nameserver configuration.

Should I make any changes on the old server before I initiate the transfer, or will only the domain and it's related contents transfer?

Thank you,
Tim Mallardi

Have you updated the new nameservers at the domain registrar for all transferred domains/websites on the new server?

If you have already updated the IP address at the registrar, all you would need to do after the transfer is ensure the DNS records, specifically the A and NS records in the zone, are properly configured and pointed to the IP/nameserver you expect.
