Transfer of Email Accounts

    I recently transferred my entire cPanel from one host to another. I changed the DNS so that the domain would point to the new host. It seems that emails (sending & receiving) do not work. At first I thought this was a propagation issue. There's a 550 error. So what I tried was adding a brand new email account in the new host's cPanel, and then testing sending/receiving. Viola. There were no issues. I am wondering if somehow the email accounts really didn't get moved over even though they are shown under Add/Remove Email Accounts in a user's cPanel.

    Any fixes besides recreating accounts? I hope other types of data weren't messed up in the xfer from old host's cPanel to new host's cPanel.
