    Greetings-

I want to "Copy an account with account password" from another server. Will the entire account be transfered?

    Add on Domains

    Parked Domains

E-mail, with current functions (so not to lose information)

Old package (I will Mod the Package once transfered.

Basically everything from the old account/Server.

    Thanks

    jBillu-

My WHM has been set up with Cpanel. My previous account, with the hosting company, also has cpanel.

So it seems like all will work out fine. I will attempt this process in a few mins.

Re: "Transfer process question. Dedicated Server"

If both 'Source' and 'Destination' servers are running cPanel then yes, it is possible. cPanel provides this functionality and there are multiple ways to migrate an account. You can either generate a full cPanel backup on Source server for the account to be migrated, then move it to destination server and restore there using WHM.

Second way is to use WHM's account migration feature to move the account. If you do not have access to WHM (though it appears that you do have access), then you may need to contact the Server administrator to do this job for you.

Also all the data and settings including, account passwords, emails, email accounts, Add-on domains, Parked Domains, Databases etc. will be migrated in this case.

If both the Source and Destination servers are running different control panels or source/destination does not have any control panel at all, then it is nearly impossible to migrate each and everything as is. You may need to re-configure few things again.

Looks like the other (my old account) cPanel is running Version 11.23.6 RELEASE and my Dedicated Server is running cPanel 11.24.4-R33609.

Should be ok I think. You may need to set the account on the new server to use the X3 theme if it's not though. If it's a really huge account, you might want to make sure the new account has enough room. That WHM transfer has in the past been a bit problematic for really big account transfers, IMHO.

    Infopro-

All went well. All three accounts were transferred over with no problem. Thanks for the help.

I will be back with more questions in the near future.
