I got an issue when the transfer tool session which I had to abort because it "hung" on 2 accounts, one of which for domain.com we had the files on the server (we need them) but at the registrar this domain pointed to other nameservers, because we put it on another server.
Transfertool should not hang on this.

So I rebooted the server.
At this moment, when looking at the transfer tool sessions, one still under "Aborting sessions" and has no "end" time and if you click "view" it still is running "Aborting".

So I looked in the file it's pointing to, but the pids at the end are not present anymore.

Is there a way to end this stuff, so this does not keep saying "Aborting" when we view it, but it finishes and gives an "end" time?

I attach a screenshot.

and if I click "view" it keeps running (arrow show it)

I don't want this to stop because everything works OK now, so I don't want this maybe to mess up things.

Thank you very much!!

I got this result:
Code:
metadata:
  command: abort_transfer_session
  reason: OK
  result: 1
  version: 1
So that looks good.

I checked WHM and now it has en end time and is stated as Failed. And now I can review it instead of view, and it's not running anymore.

However, the directory of this sessioni is still present in my /home directory.

It only contains a ConfigBackup directory with these files:
Code:
-rw------- 1 root root 408 2021-04-10 23:49 AutoSSLOptions.tar.gz
-rw------- 1 root root 664 2021-04-10 23:49 Backups.tar.gz
-rw------- 1 root root 184K 2021-04-10 23:49 Exim.tar.gz
-rw------- 1 root root 3.9K 2021-04-10 23:49 MySQL.tar.gz
-rw------- 1 root root 14K 2021-04-10 23:49 Themes.tar.gz
-rw------- 1 root root 4.5K 2021-04-10 23:49 WHMConf.tar.gz
I presume I can safely remove that directory with content? Just move these files to a safe place just in case for the time being, correct?
