Transfer tool from RHEL 6.10 to U20

Hello Again,

I'd like to get some insights on how can I get over this hurdle.

Tried researching to no avail. We unfortunately have cPanel on version 84/86 which currently sits on RHEL 6.10 (EOL - yeah great right!).

I'm in a tight spot as we need to get our cpanel environment which is currently in RHEL to UBUNTU.

From the whm interface of the old cpanel server (RHEL), when I go to transfer tool, input the new cpanel server (ubuntu) IP and root credentials, I get the error below.


Vice versa, from the new cpanel server on transfer tool, input the old cpanel server IP and root credentials I get the error below.



I get these two errors --

ssh transport failed
whostmgr transport failed

Would appreciate any response or suggestions!

Hey there! The next step would be to manually try and connect from the new server to the old machine over SSH on the command line. My guess is that you will get similar errors as the servers don't seem to be able to talk to each other over SSH.
