Transfer Tool generates high load

I am trying to migrate some user accounts with the Transfer Tool, I am not able to do the transfer because the VPS starts to have a high load to the point of causing the VPS to crash, the VPS has 20 cores and 90Gb of ram.
What could be happening?

Hi,
what kind of vps do you have like openVZ or KVM. does the resources to the vps is shared or dedicated.. if its a shared and lot of other vps are also running in the same node they might consume some resources, you need to check that.
also check number of Number of Transfer Threads: and Number of Restore Threads:, make it like 2 or 3 as shown below.

It's hard for us to say what the issue may be. If you watch "top" on your machine during the transfer process, is the Transfer Tool what is causing the server load? When there is an issue like this it is best to troubleshoot in real-time on the system as much as possible, as that is the best way to get accurate data.
