It is not possible to migrate the emails from one server to another server using cPanel. You will have to manually take the backup of cPanel and then restore it on the new server. Multiple account transfer does not transfer the emails. However, it transfers the email addresses.

Hi,

We have just bought a new server and have just run the Transfer Multiple Accounts feature in WHM. We have transfered all account from 1 server to another but the new server has not any of the email address's or emails, how do we transfer all the email address's and emails?

Any help would be great please.

Thank you

Hi,

I have just done a full backup on the account on the old server and downloaded it, i have now done a home directory restore on the new account for the server and it still has not done the email address's and emails. I have checked the email and it says this:

Copying Mail files....Done

but yet the email address's are not there?

Any help please?

Try to execute the below mentioned command in your SSH:

/scripts/pkgacct

The above scripts does create a full backup of an account, including databases, privileges, cPanel settings, email messages and accounts etc

It is not possible to migrate the emails from one server to another server using cPanel. You will have to manually take the backup of cPanel and then restore it on the new server. Multiple account transfer does not transfer the emails. However, it transfers the email addresses.
That is inaccurate. A migration using the transfer tools in WHM will include both email addresses and the email messages, along with mail filters etc.

If this issue persists, please let our technical analysts take a look at your servers so we can determine why the email isn't transferring over as it should.
