Yes, in fact it's the same procedure (WHM -> Transfers -> Copy an account from another server). In the "Remote server type is:" field, simply select the option for Plesk.

Are there any version limitations on this?
I use Plesk For Windows 8.1 for windows and believe i'll be moving to a fairly new version of cpanel.

I know that improved support continues to be integrated into cPanel/WHM. I would recommend if you are moving from Plesk 8 that you attempt to do so and if you encounter any issues, submit a ticket so our techs can be of assistance.

For more information regarding our latest Plesk migration support, visit: http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=2788

    Plesk Migration Tool

    Hiya Folks,

Im in need of some help moving from Plesk 7.5 to cPanel 11 but it seems that Plesk 7.5 isnt supported yet.

Is it possible if someone can make this asap.

It would need me getting another server.

    Dom

If you are experiencing problems using the migration tool for Plesk 7.x or 8.x, feel free to submit a support ticket.

The migration tool is being updated to better accommodate later versions of Plesk. Submitting a ticket will allow our technical staff to locate any remaining issues with our migration script.

    Bumping a dead horse, sorry.
Does the *transfer* option exist on WHM 10, last 3 hosts I contacted who use CPanel/WHM 10?
Thanks for your continued updates and support on this.

11.6.1 makes some large improvements in this area.

Is there a location where we can find a listing of webhosts using CPanell 11?

Unfortunately, at this time there is no official list of web hosts using cPanel 11.

If you are looking for a web hosting provider that uses cPanel 11, I recommend entering the following search phrase into your favorite Internet search engine:

    cPanel 11 Hosting Plan

I have personally used the "Transfer Tool" in WHM to transfer Plesk 7.5 and
Plesk 8 accounts from quite a large number of Plesk servers!

Even though the tool says it only supports up through v6.x, it actually
works just fine converting all the way up through v8.x series.

The only notable problem I've run into is WHM failing to transfer the cpmove
files that were built in a couple of the cases. In those particular instances,
I just simply went out to the Plesk server, copied the cpmove files over to
the new Cpanel server, and restored them with the "Restore a Full Backup"
option in WHM and they all worked perfectly.

The good news and bottom line ....

Yes, you can convert Plesk to Cpanel!

Please let me know the procedure because I have tried to transfer from Plesk 7.5.4 to CPanel 11.2.0 without success.

No e-mail account is moved, neither the domain limits and the new account made by CPanel frequently has errors.

The review copied accounts shows everything fine.

I've tried the Plesk migration tool it keeps giving me errors. The Plesk server's SSH is on port 22799; could that be causing the problem?

I would recommend submitting a support ticket regarding this issue so we can determine what is causing the issue and possibly make improvements to the migration tool.

The transfer tool works with live servers, not backup files. Additionally, it is ideal if you have root access to both servers. Only if you do not have root access should a transfer be attempted with individual user credentials.

The transfer tool provided in the WHM interface is only available to root-level users.
