I have a reseller account on a server, and I wish to move them all to the new dedicated server that I have.

Is there anyway I can do this, like the way that requires root access, I can't do this as I do not have root ACCESS!

I also cannot make a backup of sites on my reseller account!

I've had a little search and can't seem to pull up anything.

This is kinda urgent, so any responses would be nice.

    Thanks,

    -Nick

Not sure how many accounts you are talking about, but without root access, you'll only be able to move the accounts one at a time using the accounts username and password.

To many accounts to do that?

    Is there any other way?

The first way is probably impractical, but you could ask for root access to the box. If you are getting your server from them, they might accommodate you. Depends on the company.

More reaslitically, the only other thing I can think to do would be to log into the control panel for each and start a full backup for each site, then ftp them to the new server, and restore them as backups.

Other than that, you are out of luck.

i have ftp'd the files to the other server, but the only option to restore that I can see is by uploading them from my actual computer.

I need to get them from the home directory.

Where can I restore from the home dir?

In WHM, in the backup section there is an option to restore a full backup file. Click on that and it will tell you where the files need to be located.
