This may have been answered before but I wouldn't know where to begin to look for it on the forums. Anyway, when you transfer a site from one cpanel server to another in WHM, is the copy of the site in which you're transfering current (as of the moment you transferred) or is it the copy of the daily backup that ran the day before? I'm pretty sure it's current and am hoping it's current but don't know for sure. I have to know whether to manually package the sties up myself then transfer or if cpanel will do a current up to date packaging when transferring.

It's a current backup. Cpanel logs on to the old server and creates a backup and then it FTP's to your new server.

Thanks! That's what I thought I just didn't know for sure. That'll save me lots of time. :)
