    Go on, have a guess
Are you sure that it's not a client retrieval problem? I've never seen a genuine multiple email situation in my travels, they've only been either due to:

    1. Failed POP3 sessions which cause the email to be retrieved multiple times

    2. People using "Leave mail on the server" when using POP3

    3. Faulty aliases

One of the first clues is to check the Message-id in the email header of each of the triplicate emails. Are they different or the same? If they're different, I take it all back :) if they're the same, I'd suspect a retrieval issue.

    Hi Chirpy

They are identical in every way. Sent directly to my ISP (verizon) and from there downloaded to me, not left on server or forwarded anywhere. An easy test would be to move it to another address and wait an hour I guess. :p

    Thanks I'll let you know.
