I'd recommend you contact cPanel support so that they can help you out with specific installation issues. They will also install cPanel for you free of charge.

    Howdy all.

    I'm new to using Cpanel.

I Currently have an Dedicated Server box using operating system Debian/Linux.

    I did a mkdir /home/cpins

    did a wget of cpanel.

Typed: sh latest (logged in as root)

    And got an error message:

    Can't locate Sys/Hostname.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.4 /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.8 /usr/share/perl/5.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl . /scripts) at ./install line 9.
    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./install line 9.

Any help will be much appreciated.
