A user brought to my attention that in cPanel, the links for "Frequently Accessed Areas" do not work when using Firefox 5.0. The links simply do not do anything when clicked. The mouse hover does make the link change color, but clicking does nothing.

I'm still on 11.28 Stable, so maybe this has been improved/solved already, and I'll get it when 11.30 moves to Stable?

Broken in 11.28 and 11.30 from the two machines I tested it on.

    Hello :)

This is a known issue that has been addressed in version 11.30.1.1 of cPanel. For reference, the internal case number is:

    # 51025

You can find this case number listed in the Change Logs at:

    Change Logs

    Thank you.

I'm curious to know if there is an open bug tracker where I could read the details of case # 51025. Would like to know the details of what the issue was to see if some of the work I've put out may have the same issue with Firefox 5.

Actually, I would recommend everyone experiencing this issue submit a bug report so we get a more complete picture of what people are experiencing. Anyone can submit a bug report (not just sysadmins). You can use the Bugs link at the top of the page or http://go.cPanel.net/bugs - but if you have any problems with those, please just drop me an email to sales@cPanel.net and I'll route you into the system from our end :).

I think our developers would very much appreciate your report so we can make sure everything everyone is experiencing is being addressed. As you seem to know, sometimes in software development someone reports one thing, that thing gets fixed but something else was also not working and that didn't get fixed - hence we love bug reports as it helps us get multiple perspectives on an issue to make sure our fixes are thorough, so we're not having this same conversation again right after we thought we fixed this.

I'm closing this thread now. If you submit a bug report, you will be notified via email when this is fixed so there's no need to keep this thread open. If you want a status update, feel welcome to followup with your bug report - but like I said the more reports we get on this, the higher priority it will receive.
