    Hi everyone.

I'm trying to install cpanel in a fresh CentOS 6.5 server.
All goes well until I get to this point.

    2014-06-06 15:49:58 578 (DEBUG): HTTPUPDATE is set to httpupdate.cpanel.net
    2014-06-06 15:49:58 599 (DEBUG): Retrieving updatenow.static from http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/installer/cpanel/scripts/updatenow.static.bz2

I tried to download the package from the url with wget and get it without problems.
I can see in top that a process called ./updatenow.static and see connections through port 80 to cpanel webs.

Does anyone know what could be happening?

    Thanks in advance
    Antonio.

    Hello :)

Check to make sure you are using valid resolvers in your /etc/resolv.conf file. Also, try running the installer again to rule out any temporary network issues that may have been occurring at the time.

    Thank you.

    Hello

The nameservers in my /etc/resolv.conf file is my lan DNS server. All my servers use that DNS server. It seems to be OK.

    Code:
    [root@cpanel-test ~]# nslookup httpupdate.cpanel.net
