    from an admitted cpanel n00b...

This is 2 different servers after the upgrade.
Server1 the mail works and is going into:
/home/accountname/mail/domain-name.com/mail-username/new/ (each email as separate file)

Server2 the email does NOT work, the server IS accepting emails, and we find them in:
~/mail/inbox (one file with all emails in it)

Looks like server2 did not convert to maildir?
    Correct?

If so... must we run /scripts/convert2maildir again on that server?
    and, if so... what else?

If only SOME accounts didn't convert correctly, wouldn't these be autoconverted if we backup and restore them in place?

    Thanks

    Go on, have a guess
If some of the mailboxes didn't convert you can run the following to process them:

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/convertmaildir

Also, make sure that you are actually running courier on the server where it doesn't work and if you are, try the following:

    /scripts/courierup --force
    /scripts/eximup --force

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
