I'm trying to move from php-cgi to php-fpm to get better performance.
I've installed the neccesary extensions via easyapache, but when I try to change it on the
    Multiphpmanager
I can't change it because "inheritance"
How do I bypass this "feature" ?

Right now php-fpm requires each account to be explicitly assigned a version of PHP. The simplest way is to select all accounts in the MultiPHP manager, and assign them to the version of PHP you want. Then you can enable php-fpm for your accounts.
