Hi,
I'm trying to transfer a domain from site 1 to site 2 that uses a shared IP that it can't keep (it should take a new IP from site 2). Every time in site 2 it chooses a random IP, I'm guessing, because the IP at site 2 has it 'Dedicated' to another account. There are no resellers, I just need to change wherever the existing account stores it to 'Shared'.
If I look at /etc/domainips it has '123.123.123.123: domain.com' and I remove it, it says '(main shared IP) (Shared by...)' but if I save it it just puts that '123.123.123.123: domain.com' line straight back again.
Is there some extra step I'm missing?
thanks,
Alex
